Young Stunna  is a South African singer. He has managed to gain popularity by making songs with Amapiano beats. He has now dropped many hit songs through the genre including Ba Xolele and Bopha. The Amapiano singer has also handled some projects with several heavyweights.

The fast-rising Amapiano artist was born Sandile Msimango on Daveyton on 17 November 1997. He was born in a small town located in Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality in Gauteng.

Background

His upbringing was under Christian doctrine as his parents were Christians. Attending church services was a must for young Sandile.

Young Stunna later developed an interest in singing and decided to participate in singing and then joined the choir. Joining the choir gained him not only singing experience but exposure. Life has not always been a bed of roses for the singer, according to him growing up was tough.

The fast-rising star began doing music during his tender age, while he was in elementary school he entertained many with his talents. He appeared in dances and dramas during notable events and occasions. So he began to write songs in 2012 starting with the hip hop music genre.

With the Amapiano trend comes his new love for the genre. Some artists that influenced him into loving the genre are the likes of Mpura, Focalistic, DJ Maphorisa, among others. In 2015, he became a member of a music group that consisted of seven members. Each member has a unique contribution to the group. He enjoys reading lots and lots of novels which has gained his knowledge on how to rhyme his raps.

Although the identity of his parents is out of the public eye, they might have influenced his love for music to a great length. His parents had an interest and love for the art too. His mother was a vocalist and his father was also into Kwaito.
