For three years, she played the role of Phumzile on City Ses’la. She landed the role following the exit of Lurayi who joined the Wild At Heart cast. She landed the starring roles of Young Nomsa in iNkaba, a Mzansi Magic telenovela (2012-2013).
She has also appeared in several television shows playing cameo roles. In 2005, she was cast as bitchy Maria on the popular series Isindigo. Thul also was cast as Detective Maseko in Mtunzini.com and Young Reporter on Hard Copy in the same year. In 2006, she played the role of Doctor on Tshisa.
The role of Pink Khumba came after she took over from Terry Pheto in Zone 14. She appeared in season 3 of the SABC1 drama series in 2010. She hosted Our Perfect Wedding, a Mzansi Wethu reality series. In a bid to focus on her academic pursuit, she left the show after a season.
