Matshidiso from Muvhango’s real name is Buhle Samuels. She was born on 25th May 1990 in Soweto. She is the youngest in her family and has two older sisters including Mbali Samuels. Not much is known about her parents but it is reported that her mother works in Saudi Arabia as a nurse.
She is a university graduate

After years of playing the role of Matshidiso Mofokeng on Muvhango, Buhle Samuels left the soapie in January 2018 to concentrate on her music career and other projects but returned to her role in January 2020.
At the end of 2020, Buhle Samuels said a final goodbye to her role as Matshidiso on Muvhango. Her reasons for leaving this second time round were not very clear. While some sources claimed that she had been impossible to work with and as a result had been fired, the actress rubbished the claims saying that she had left to look for opportunities that would help her grow.
