Don Mlangeni Nawa (born 7 June 1959 in Soweto) is a South African actor. His acting profession has gained him prominence. Roles like Laqhasha in Sgudi ‘Snaysi and Prince Moseki Kwena in The Throne brought him to the limelight.

He has also appeared in many other television series. In 1998, he was cast in Isidingo as Zebedee Matabane. He remained cast in the SABC3 soap opera until 2014.

He began to act in theatre, later in 1993, he decided to move to Zulu drama Hlala Kwabafileyo. Don Mlangeni has also appeared in another Zulu film Ubambo Lwam’. He was cast as David.

Other acting credits include Cycle Simenon (1995) and Zebedee Matabane in Isidingo in 1998. Don played the role until 2014. In 2006, he was recognized with the Golden Horn Awards though a disciplinary dispute with the show ended his appearance.

In 2018, he was cast as Moseki, a lead role, in The Throne. The character is a royalty and brother (younger) to the queen. He was recognized again with Lifetime Achievement Award at Royalty Soapie Awards (2018).

He took home the award for the contribution he made to the TV industry. He was cast as Laqhasha in Sgudi ‘Snaysi and made appearances in 5 seasons. He was cast in the film Losing Lerato as SWAT Commander (2019) – Mlangeni Nawa’s film debut.

In 2020, he landed a role in season one of the M-Net Telenovela Legacy as John. Other serial credits include Mfundisi in Abomama season 1&2 and Dhlomo in Uzalo season 1.
