Bandile and Banele Mbere were born in the year 1991 on January 3. They were born in Massachusetts in the U.S. They returned to the country at a very young age. Following the end of the Apartheid era, they returned to South Africa and moved to Johannesburg.
The twins were influenced by music during their early days in life. They heard more of Jazz, Gospel, RnB, Soul, and Hip Hop music since their father and older brother loved these genres. Sadly, they lost their father to a sudden heart attack while on a business trip.
He served as a South African ambassador in Rwanda. Though the loss was not easy for their family, their mother took up the role of both parents. She tried her best to cater to their needs. Their father when he was alive played the piano.
They have two elder brothers. When they were in primary school they had already started to play instruments like the piano. When they were done with their high school academic pursuit, they did not study. They started their career as deejay and music producers.

In 2006, they decided to do music on a professional level by being hosts of events and after-parties. The music duo has been the host of after-parties for big names in the music industry. Fat Joe, 50 cent, and Akon among others are celebrities they have hosted after-parties for.
In late 2008, the twin began to play and the process gave birth to the music group – Major League DJz. They have shared the with music heavyweights in the international scene like Kid Cudi and Kanye West. They have also worked with other Disk Jockeys including DJ Fresh, Euphonik, Roger Goode, DJ Trauma, DJ Drama, and DJ Woo Kid.
The music duo is known to be the leader of the New Age Kwaito music. Their event, Major League Gardens, has also been brought further into the limelight. Label The popular music duo is signed under the music label – Mabala Noise. Riky Rick, a friend of theirs and their co-worker, did the introduction of the record label.

One of the members of the Musical duo Bandile Mbere confirmed that he was dating Nadia Nakai, a female rapper. The relationship allegedly began in 2018, though he was of the claim that they were friends.
Speaking to TshisaLive, he made their relationship status clear and said that they were dating. Earlier in 2016, Bandile denied accusations of being in a romantic relationship with Sizakele Manonga.
