BACKGROUND
Kaizer was born in the heart of Soweto. He was born during the apartheid era. His soccer talent was greatly encouraged by his family, and it led to his early start in a football career.
CAREER
Kaizer started playing football at a very young age. At 16, he was already playing professional soccer for Orlando Pirates. Phil Woodsman, the founder of Atlanta Chiefs and Dick Cecil, was noticed in 1968, and he was recruited to play for Atlanta Chiefs as a result.
Kaizer represented Atlanta Chiefs as a forward in the North American Soccer League (NASL). He was crowned Rookie of the Year as he scored 16 goals in 15 matches. In 1970 he returned home and decided to start his team, and he then founded Kaizer Chiefs. The team was named after himself and his former football club in Atlanta.

At first the team was a mixed batch of veterans and talented rookies. However under his tutelage the club became a force to be reckoned with. It eventually went on to become the most successful team in South Africa. It has 78 trophies and over 14 million supporters throughout the country.

In his lifetime, Kaizer has made an impact on South African soccer. He has served in both National Soccer League and as a SAFA executive. In 19, Irvinin Khohe founded the South African Premier League, and thisthis helped bring in more sponsors and money to South African Soccer. Currently, he is a member of the PSL Board of Governors, serves as a SAFA executive and manages Kaizer Chiefs.
During the 2010 world cup, he assisted South Africa’s 2010 Soccer World Cup Bid Committee. He was a member of the delegation to the FIFA head office in Zurich that won the bid. Kaizer was also appointed as a member of the local organizing committee for the 2010 event.

Kemiso and Bobby do not have a good relationship due to social media posts. Kemiso posted unsavoury comments on Facebook about her brother, and Bobby then went on record and blasted her for it.

Kaizer has five children, two daughters and 3 sons. However, his first son Thabo passed on after a battle with meningitis in 20, and heheHe died at the age of 43. His son Kaizer Jr has a son named Tyler Thys Motaung.
Kaizer Jr followed in his father’s footsteps to become a football player. Jessica, his daughter, manages communications and marketing roles for the Kaizer Chiefs club. However, relations are strained between Kaizer Jr and Kaizer Snr despite this. Kaizer Jr is quite the social media magnet. He is rumoured to be a drug addict and has accused his German wife of physical assault.
