Pearl Monama did all her education in Afrikaans schools. She did her primary school at Witbank’s Laerskool Kragbron and then her matruc at Hoërskool Brandwag in Benoni and she passed her matric with good grades.

After passing her matric, Pearl registered for her tertiary education at the University of Pretoria. She graduated with an honours degree in Film and Drama Studies.
