Who is Zola 7’s new wife?
Zola 7’s new wife is a beautiful woman called Thato Matseke. According to sources, Thato is a makeup artist and nail technician based in Johannesburg and she has worked on the set for several productions including Mzansi Magic’s Our Perfect Wedding. Zola 7 and his new wife reportedly met in 2015 on the set of Rolling with Zola and they started dating shortly after.
In January 2018, Zola 7 reportedly sent a delegation to Thato Matseke’s home in Pretoria to make lobola negotiations. The two had been reportedly living together in Zola 7’s house in Melville. It is unclear whether the wedding did take place as planned and whether or not Thato Matseke is officially Zola 7’s new wife, since both parties chose not to comment on the whole wedding story.

Zola 7’s ex wife
Before Zola 7’s new wife came into the picture, Zola 7 was reportedly married to another woman from Klipspruit in Soweto, called Sibongile Nkabinde. It is not clear how Zola 7 and Sibongile Nkabinde met but the two reportedly got married in a traditional wedding ceremony more than ten years ago after Zola 7 sent his family to do lobola negotiations on his behalf.
After years of staying away from the limelight, Zola 7’s first wife came forward in 2020 and made some serious accusations against the legendary musician. According to a report published by the Sunday Sun, Sibongile revealed that shortly after getting married, Zola 7 allegedly dumped her at his mother’s house in Dobsonville, Soweto while he lived in Melville, Jozi, and they would only meet once every few weeks.

She reportedly went on to accuse Zola 7 of physically and verbally abusing her and even kicking her out together with their three young children outside his mother’s house. Zola 7 publicly denied the marriage allegations.
Zola 7 and Garnett Maseko
Before his notorious scandal with his ex-wife- Sibongile Nkabinde, Zola 7 was also caught up in another drama with his baby mama- Garnett Maseko. In a past interview with Drum magazine, Garnett Maseko revealed that she met Zola 7 through a mutual friend back in 2002 before the top of his career and fame.

The two, according to Garnett, had a great relationship until she fell pregnant with her first child and Zola 7 denied being the child’s father. They, however, reportedly mended things and Garnett went on to have her second child with Zola 7.
For nearly two decades, Zola 7 and Garnett have been at war over the paternity of Garnett Maseko’s two children- a daughter and a son and in 2015, the pair went to court to review their child maintenance agreement. The court ruled in favour of Ms Garnett Maseko as Zola 7 was ordered to pay child support for the two children, and although he complied with the court order, Garnett Maseko still claimed that the Intathakusa hitmaker had still not accepted that he was the father of her children.
