Boohle was born Buhle Manyathi in the township of Vosloorus in Gauteng, South Africa. Her parents were happy to receive their newborn daughter. They described the first cry of their baby as a “melody sang by an angel from the heavens”.
She hails from a musical family and together with her sisters she created a musical group. The trio founded a gospel vocal trio at a very tender age.
Career
Hailing from a musical family contributed to the progress in her musical pursuit so far. She kicked off her music career as a child when she and her siblings founded a gospel vocal trio. For the airy and deep-voiced singer, music is a way of expressing her heart and the world view.
Upon growing up, she entered the music scene professionally. Her signwriting skills started to gain her recognition in 2016 and over the years, she began to work with many music producers. Manyathi worked as a songwriter, arranger, and vocalist.
She has continued to gain prominence in the entertainment circle ever since. The gifted vocalist was found by a founding member of Tshwane Gospel Choir in 2017. Over time, she perfected her skills and produced several harmonies.
She has gained prominence for some of her work over the years. She has also recorded several successes in the music industry. Her song Yini Na climbed to the No.1 spot on Yfm’s Hot 99 chart with DJ Candii. She is also the artist behind the hit song Slala Amalunde which made waves on many popular radio stations in the country.
Among the stations her the song was played include Capricon, Jozi FM, and Kasi FM. Boohle’s debut solo album is a product of hard work, exploration, and experiments with sounds. She collaborated with Tee-Jay and Elastic to produce her debut complete album in 2019.
She has also collaborated with many big names in the country music circle from all genres. Boohle’s impressive performances have earned her the chance to share the stage with music heavyweights including Heavey K, Fifi Cooper, Emtee, and Doctor Malinga.
Personal life
In 2019, Boohle collaborated with Tee-Jay and Elastic to produce her debut complete album. Following a collaboration with the record producer Josiah De Disciple in releasing the hit Mama.
Many rumors were triggered that they were either together or dating. The rumor came to Boohle’s knowledge and she went on to deny these allegations. She added that he was with someone when they were working on her EP. Josiah is married…
