Sphamandla dhludhlu is a popular South African actor and TV personality who came to fame for his role as Themba in the soap opera, Rhythm City. He is also known for his roles on etv telenoela Umlilo. Early Life

Sphamandla dhludhlu was born in Thokoza, Johannesburg, South Africa on January 5, 1992. He grew up in Kwazulu-Natal and later went back to the east at the age of 10. He also has a brother named Mandla Dhludhlu who worked in community theatre. He majored in Performing Arts at FUBA School of Dramatic and Visual Arts. He trained in voice acting with the award winning actress Dorothy Ann Gould.

Career

Sphamandla dhludhlu developed interest in acting at a very young age. He came through with lots of professional theatre productions with lead roles in The Coat by Athol Fugurd, New Years Eve by Patrick Mofukeng. He starred in the film Rise Quizzical Pictures alongside the award winning director Rolie Nikiwe.

He has featured on etv telenovela Umlilo and SABC1 soapie Generations: The Legacy. He also showed up as Themba in a supporting role in the local soapie, Rhythm City. He is also known for his supporting role as Simon on the SABC1 drama, Thandeka’s Diary.
