Early Life
Shashi Naidoo was born on 4 November 1979 in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape Province. She was raised in the city of Algoa Bay in South Africa. She had to relocate to Johannesburg for studies in 2007.
Education
She attended and matriculated at Alexander Road High School in 1997. After, she enrolled at the University of Johannesburg to study chiropractic medicine. Shashi Naidoo graduated in 2007.
Career
In 2004, she was cast as the girlfriend of Ziggy ‘Linda McGinty’ in the E.TV soap opera ‘Backstage’. Later, she was cast in another South African soap opera ‘Generations’. In 2007, the renowned actress was cast in a minor role in the mini-series Society.
On 2 October 2007, Shashi began to co-present the youth magazine show on SABC1 ‘EMS Volume 1’. She appeared on the MNET soap opera Egoli in a 6-months stint as Sureshni Patel in 2008.
