Abomama is a South African TV drama series that tells the story of four churchwomen. These women get drawn into the criminal underworld after they turned their stokvel into a scheme to launder money.
The series deals with the “extraordinary lives” of ordinary women after a group of religious women took it upon themselves to turn tragedy into a blessing.
