She was born in the coastal South African province KwaZulu-Natal on 28 July 1993. She spent her days as a child in Clermont, where she was born, and developed an interest in acting while in high school.
After she was done with her high school studies, the actress moved to the city of Johannesburg in 2016. Although moving to the new location did not yield the result as easy as she thought it would. She went for auditions to land a role in movies.

She is a South African actress popular for playing the role of Vivian in the South African soap opera Isithembiso.
Although most of her auditions turned out to be unsuccessful, she did not allow them to affect her dreams. In 2017, her dreams to appear on-screen became a reality. She was cast as Vivian in Isithembiso and appeared in season one, episode forty-nine.
In the following year, she returned to appear in the second season and then the third season in 2019. Kwezi then landed the role of the younger version of MaMngadi in The Herd, in the Mzansi Magic supernatural drama series.
