Khama Billiat is rather the football player. His football talent shone through from a young age, and his parents supported him and cultivated his talent. As a result, he has become quite the African Soccer star with quite the recognizable name. His iconic football style has made him quite the miracles player.

BACKGROUND

Khama was destined to become a soccer player. He was a low key genius growing up. And being the child of a soccer player as well served as the familiar sign from the universe on which path he would take. Both his uncle and father played for the Zimbabwean team Caps United, with his uncle being in the first team.

Education

Billiat attended Lord Malvern High school for his secondary school and Gwinyiro for his primary school. This is where his talent began to shine as he started playing first-team football in grade 3. In grade 5, he was hunted by Marc Duvillard, and Marc offered to pay his fees and cater for his school needs. As a result of this, he went on to join Aces Academy. During this time in his life, he also drew inspiration from his uncle Cheche Billiat, a soccer player for Caps United.

 

CAREER

Khama started his career at Caps United. However, due to the lack of recognition and success of the sport in Zimbabwe, he then travelled to South Africa. This was in 2010, and he went to play for Ajax Cape Town. After three years, he signed a five-year contract with Mamelodi Sundowns in August 2013. While in Mamelodi, the team became the second South African Team to win the CAF Champions League.

In 2018 he then joined Kaizer Chiefs. His debut fatefully enough was against his former club Mamelodi Sundowns on 4 August 2018.  He made his debut in the Zimbabwean national team in the 2013 AFCON qualifiers against Mali. Khama has now become part of the first 11 for the Zimbabwe national team. He has featured in many games and has scored a huge 17 goals, and has 43 caps for Zimbabwe.

However, recently, Khama’s performance has dropped. This led to some members of the football community accusing him of lying about his age. Even the famed manager Mlungisi Professor Ngubane called him out on his age. However, his parents came to defence, even going so far as to show his birth records and baby cards to prove Khama’s age.

Salary

Billiat is the highest-paid player in the ABSA premiership, and his salary is R833 333 per month. This, coupled with several other businesses he runs he is estimated at being worth R75 million.

Car Collection

Billiat’s taste in cars is evidence of his massive wealth. His garage collection includes several expensive German Techno cars. There is a 2019 Range rover Lumma CLR RS, a white Infinity, a BMW  hatchback and a few others.

LOVE LIFE

Khama is the well-known sports guy. It isn’t easy to see him as a married man between his baby mama drama in early 2020 and his general female escapades. He had to issue a protection order against his alleged side chick, the alleged mother to his 9month-year-old child. The woman is said to have confronted him about missing his child support payments. This confrontation led to a fight, and in the end, he was stabbed using a screwdriver.

Khama Billiat has also been linked to a rather crude dancer in Zimbabwe by Bev Sibanda. However, despite all this, he is a married man with a fizzy young daughter. His wife Esnath is based in Harare, where his home town is. The wife, who has most likely witnessed his escapades with other women, has remained tightly lipped about it all
