Michelle Dimpho Mvundla, popularly known as Mpho wa Badimo, is a Sangoma (spiritual healer) who also potters as a YouTuber, Fashionista, and Idlozi Advocate. She first came to fame after participating in Big Brother Mzansi season three and evolving as the winner.

Mpho wa Badimo’s journey on Big Brother Mzansi
After a six-year break, Big Brother Mzansi returned to our screens for a third season named Beke le Beke. The season kick started on 23rd January 2022 and between the 18 competitors who were introduced to viewers was Mpho wa Badimo. After 71 days in the house, Mpho wa Badimo who revealed that she grew up watching the show and always wanted to participate in it was voted as the winner of Big Brother Mzansi season three, walking away with a cash prize of a huge R2 million, an lucky title, and a sea of opportunities ahead of her.
Speaking to Lawrence Maraki after her big win, Mpho wa Badimo who was overcome by joy said: “This house has healed me, I feel like a brand new person and I am ready to conquer the world. I will forever be grateful to Biggie for allowing me to embark on this journey.”

Mpho wa Badimo’s family, health, education, and abortion
Mpho wa Badimo was born on the 9th of August 1994 in Daveyton Township, Gauteng. Not much is known about her parents and siblings, although in an interview with the Drum after her big win, Mpho wa Badimo revealed that before the show, she lived with her mother, her brother and her son. She also revealed that both her mother and brother are diabetics.
Her education profile is also not available although it is believed that she got her primary and secondary education at Daveyton before moving to university in Johannesburg. She also revealed that she had lost her eyesight at some point in 2016. During the show, Mpho wa Badimo, who is a single mother of one, revealed that she had done an abortion.

Mpho wa Badimo relationship
Mpho wa Badimo has kept her dating life relatively private although there have been rumours that she was dating Themba Broly, aka Ghost who was also a housemate on Big Brother Mzansi season three and the second runner-up. The dating rumour was run after a video of the two former Big Brother Mzansi cosying up to each other went viral on social media.
Among those who reacted to the video was Themba Brolly’s baby mama- Nqobile Khuzwayo, who took to social media to rage about how crushed and heartbroken she was with the two’s relationship even though she was no longer dating Ghost.
It is not clear if Mpho wa Badimo and Ghost are really an item since neither of them has confirmed or denied the relationship although, after her win, Mpho wa Badimo revealed that she was not interested in dating anyone on BBM.

Shortly after taking the big prize home, Mpho wa Badimo conducted several interviews with a good number of media outlets, attended high-end exclusive events, and even made an appearance on Ses’fikile.
She also recently landed a testimonial deal with a popular alcoholic brand called Castle Milk Stout. The star hopes to return to our screens someday with a talk show and we can’t wait to see her soon.
