South Africans to apologize to Kelly Khumalo for accusing her for murdering Senzo Meyiwa.
Hearings Take Place Regarding the Shooting of Senzo Meyiwa by Longwe Thwala. After the court hearing that took place yesterday, Madlala gave his approval to a statement.
It has now come to light that there is a piece of evidence that suggests Longwe Twala was the one who actually shot and killed Senzo Meyiwa. At the Pretoria High Court, the court listened to the testimony of Tumelo Madlala, who stated that Twala had shot Meyiwa and then fled the scene of the crime.
Even though things got off to a very slow start, with the court having been adjourned twice before 1pm, there may have been a glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel. The court heard that Chicco Twala’s son, Longer Twala, was the one who shot and killed Senzi Meyiwa and then fled the scene. This information was reported by the Sunday World.
“It has been suggested in a statement that has been endorsed by Tumelo Madlala that Longwe, the son of musician Chicco Twala, murdered Senzo Meyiwa and then fled the scene. This damning evidence was disclosed by Timothy Thobane, the defense counsel for accused number one to four, during the cross-examination of Madlala at the high court in Pretoria on Monday. The court is currently hearing the case “published the Sunday World
Tumelo Madlala, who was one of the witnesses who were present the day Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was shot at his girlfriend’s home in Vooslorus in 2014, took the stand for the first time in September to provide his testimony. He did so as one of the witnesses who were present on that day.
Despite the fact that Tumelo Madlala has not confirmed nor refuted the information that was written down on the declaration and read to him. However, the court heard that Madlala was unable to reveal if Longwe Twala was the one who pulled the trigger, which suggests that he did not witness Twala with a gun at any point in time.
Despite this, Madlala was only able to establish that Twala left the scene of the shooting immediately after the shots were fired.
“I was for the first time to see Longwe Twala, and I did not tell anyone or the Meyiwa family that Senzo was killed by Longwe Twala because he did not have a firearm with him; instead, he ran away,” said the witness. “I was for the first time to see Longwe Twala.” Please read the declaration.
Mzansi was initially left in a state of disbelief as a result of Madlala’s testimony. They had the impression that Madlala was playing defense the entire time, as he avoided answering almost all of the questions that were directed toward him rather than providing his testimony.
“Thobane requested Madlala to explain what made him put this in writing, and in response, Madlala replied that the statement was written by a police officer. Thobane then asked Madlala to explain what made him put this in writing. According to Madlala, the officer drafted the statement, and he simply responded to the questions that were asked. This is in spite of the fact that he acknowledged, prior to providing his response, that he had in fact signed and approved all of his assertions “penned the Sunday World column.
“Mzansi Needs To Get Started On Writing An Apology To Kelly Khumalo As Soon As Possible”
This is in light of the fact that it has been established that Longwe Twala was the one who pulled the trigger.
Despite the fact that nothing has been decided for certain, in light of the fresh evidence that was shown at the Pretoria High Court, a number of people on Twitter are sure that Mzansi should apologize to Kelly Khumalo.
Following the statement of another user on Twitter that singer and reality TV star Kelly Khumalo has been treated unfairly during this entire process, Twitter is currently active with users debating the topic. During the testimony of Senzo Meyiwa’s childhood friend Tumelo Madlala, some Twitter users came to the conclusion that Mzansi owes Kelly Khumalo an apology. They made this claim at the end of Madlala’s testimony.
According to what Lerato Mabuza stated on Twitter, “Mzansi must start composing an apology to Kelly Khumalo #SenzoMeyiwatrial.”
This change of attitude toward Kelly Khumalo is the result of a statement that was approved by Tumelo Madlala. In this statement, it was suggested that Longwe Twala, the son of musician Chicco Twala, killed Senzo Meyiwa and fled the scene of the crime. This statement was approved by Tumelo Madlala.
Other people on Twitter, meanwhile, are still under the impression that Kelly Khumalo is responsible for some crimes, at least to some extent. These crimes include, but are not limited to, covering up evidence by not coming forward sooner and subverting the processes of justice.
Meyiwa’s murder trial has been going on for years, and already four suspects are behind bars, serving time for allegedly shooting and killing Senzo Meyiwa at Kelly Khumalo’s house in Voolsloorus in 2014. The incident allegedly took place in 2014.
Chardwell wrote that “she must still face criminal prosecution,” despite this fact.
