The young talented actor and director born and Bred in Sebokeng, Gauteng, South Africa, Moopi Mothibeli plays successfully a notoriously obsessed role of Smanga Moroko who has become the most loved but equally hated since the revamped soapie hit the small screen in 2014.
- Moopi was a soccer player and represented Sebokang in the under-12 levels. He completed Bachelor of Arts in Acting from the Tshwane University of Technology in 2008.
- He was a Customer sales Associate at Total Sports in Vereening from 2003 to 2005. Moopi has also been working as a professional mimic artist since 2007.
- He was working as an Assistant Director on a South African state Theatre production called Mantolo – The Tenth Step. He was Awarded certificate in editing for the film, ‘The First Three Years.’
- Moopi has permanent as an actor, director, teaching-artist and videographer. He joined Generations The Legacy in December 2014.
