An angry community taking matters into their hands by fetching a thief hanging on Electric pole

Lately, it has been common that people to steal electricity cables, we have seen so many videos posted on social media, where angry communities take matters into their hands because the authorities seem not to care about this issue.

A Twitter user posted a video of an angry community trying to fetch a thief who was stealing electricity cables in brought daylight. And captioned “When Umphakathi Justice Court needs you badly!”

In the video, the thief is on the edge of the electricity pole along with the tool he used to climb the pole and a hummer. The community saw him, they came in collection, climbed up the pole, and tried to pull him down, but eventually, they caught him.

Though the video did not continue to show what did they do to him, but we all know what will happen because if you do a community wrong, they intend to beat you up until you are critically injured, sometimes they even kill them.

I understand why the community takes matters into its hands because it is frustrating to report a matter to the police and do nothing about it, or even though they can lockup the culprit, in time they will be out roaming around the streets like nothing happened, and commit another crime because the punishment is not enough.
